Where and how are the classes taking place? What do you need to participate?

This German course takes place simultaneously in the classroom at IBZ Dortmund and online

The preparation course comprises approx. 80 teaching units of 45 minutes, of which approx. 25 teaching units are oral communication lessons.  The prerequisite for participation in the preparatory course is a certificate of C1 or  DSH 1 or TestDaF, at least TDN 12.

What will you learn during the course?

You would like to study in Germany and the university of your choice requires you to provide proof of your language skills. The language exams DSH, telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule and TestDaF are recognized as proof of language proficiency for studying in Germany.

We offer both preparatory courses and test places for these tests. After completing the course, you can take the test telc C1 Hochschule at our school and the DSH at our partner universities.

We will give you insights into the specific formats and special requirements of each of the three tests. We also use mock exams and teach strategies and techniques you need to solve the tasks effectively and successfully.

There are many exercises to improve listening and reading skills, to improve oral expression, to write text productions and to practice scientific language structures so that you can understand scientific texts.  Oral presentations followed by discussions are also part of our program.
